Donating

You can help us donate

We believe in the importance of supporting the local community that supports us. That's why we're proud to announce that for every personal tax return paid by our customers, we donate 10% of our revenue to the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (now known simply as the Montreal SPCA).

The origins of the SPCA's founding influence remain unclear, but its history credits animal-welfare societies in France, England, and the United States for their supportive role. Initially, the organization focused on improving the treatment of work horses, which were ubiquitous in Montreal.

Over time, the SPCA expanded its efforts to address additional issues, including humane dog control, cock-fighting, and the slaughter of wild birds.

Today, the SPCA is Quebec's largest animal-protection organization, advocating on behalf of animals to combat ignorance, cruelty, exploitation, and neglect.
